Our building
Yeovil Opportunity Group is based at the Balidon Centre, together with the Children’s Therapy teams – Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy and our Paediatrician.Children with any kind of disability or delay are able to receive care in one place - parents can meet with therapists, have hearing checks, paediatric appointments, orthotic appointments – all in one, family friendly environment.
This same building houses the Opportunity Group -offering specialist preschool provision. This makes for much less stress for parents and their children.
Balidon Centre offers the group purpose - built accommodation.: a large and a small playroom, a therapy and music room, a speech and language room and outdoor play areas accessible from both playrooms. There is a sensory room within the building and a considerable amount of specialist equipment, both indoors and out. There is storage room for walkers, standing frames rollators and other large equipment.
